The city of Bozeman's Snow Angels Program pairs older residents and those with disabilities with capable neighbors, offering them assistance in shoveling their adjacent sidewalks.

Snow-laden sidewalks pose risks for all who traverse them. Bozeman’s Snow Angels Program, initiated by the City of Bozeman, connects older residents and those with disabilities, to caring and willing neighbors in the vicinity ready to lend a hand in clearing snow from their sidewalks.

In addition to nurturing stronger community bonds and alleviating the burden of snowfall, Snow Angels play a crucial role in enhancing sidewalk safety during winter, benefiting neighbors, postal carriers, and all those navigating our city walkways. They also assist these residents in complying with the Sidewalk Snow Removal Ordinance which mandates the removal of all snow and ice from public sidewalks within 24 hours following the cessation of snowfall.
