The City of Bozeman Solid Waste Division offers competitive rates for garbage collection, recycling, compost collection and other services. The information and links below will provide you with a variety of pricing for

We offer garbage, curbside recycling, compost and brush and tree trimming collection to all City of Bozeman residents. Additional Fee for Bear Resistant Totes.

Residential Collection Monthly Rates

Single-Stream Curbside Recycling Rates

Basic service costs just $12.23/month and includes one 100-gallon tote. For more information on additional totes and other tote sizes and rates, see Single-Stream Recycling.

Compost Rates

We will collect yard trimmings for you at no additional cost, but please note that containers should weigh less than 35 pounds. For more information on what we can and cannot collect, see Compost Collection.

Brush and Tree Trimming Collection Rates

Brush and tree trimming containers are offered at a reduced rate to City of Bozeman customers. Please call us at 406 582-3234 to arrange for an appropriate container for your needs and to find out rates for these containers

Utility Waiver

If you own a property but are not the resident and are not responsible for the utility costs, please download and complete the Utility Waiver and return it to City Hall at 121 North Rouse in Bozeman.

Auto-Pay and Online Bill Payment

The City of Bozeman offers you the ability to pay your utility and garbage bill on line at www.bozeman.net or you can set up auto-pay. If you would like to sign up for auto-pay, please download and complete the Auto Pay Form and return it to City Hall at 121 North Rouse in Bozeman.
