Park Pavilion Reservation Information

Our pavilion rental season runs from May 1 - September 30.

Pavilions may be reserved six months in advance. Click the button above to reserve a pavilion online.

Please allow at least two weeks for your alcohol waiver to be processed.  Each pavilion available to rent has a capacity. See each pavilion's amenities through the "Reserve a Pavilion" button at the top of the page.

  • If you are ready to reserve a park pavilion, you can reserve it online by clicking the "Reserve a Pavilion" button at the top of the page or you can come to our office at the Story Mill Community Center, 600 Bridger Drive to fill out all required forms and pay the fees. OFFICE HOURS: Monday - Friday 9:00am-2:00pm

  • *PLEASE NOTE*: When a reservation is cancelled more than 14 days prior to a reservation date, a $25 processing fee will be held from the paid fees. If the cancellation or change occurs 14 days or less, no refund will be issued.
  • Seventeen pavilions in the city park system are available to rent May 1-September 30 and are offered in the following time blocks: 8:00am-3:00pm, 3:30pm-10:00pm, or a full day from 8:00am-10:00pm. Tier II, Tier III, and Tier IV Pavilions may only be rented for one time block per day. Anderson pavilion at Bogert Park is available to rent from Memorial Day-September 30. Anderson pavilion rentals are subject to cancellations due to the hockey rink removal. If the pavilion is not rentable, we will notify you 2 weeks prior to cancel your reservation. You will receive a full refund if the pavilion is not rentable. Pavilions may be reserved six months in advance in the same calendar year. Between October 1 and April 30, pavilions are used on a first come, first served basis.

Alcohol in the Parks:

  • An Open Container Waiver is required for any person or group wishing to have alcoholic beverages in one of our city parks. The wavier must be connected to a park reservation, such as a pavilion rental, Special Event Permit,  or User Group Agreement.
  • Application must be made a minimum of 2 weeks ahead to ensure proper processing.
  • Fees are non-refundable, and payment does not entitle the applicant to a waiver.
  • Costs: $25 for residents living within the city limits of Bozeman; $35 for non-city residents. Please check the city boundaries map if you are unsure.
  • Groups of 75 or more will need to provide additional requirements plus apply for a Public Assembly Permit.
