Navigating the Community Development Viewer and Online Project Access

Introduction - Accessing the planning map and projects online

All applications to the Community Development Department are submitted digitally. Full Application documents and plans will be available online as “In Review Projects.”. Please reach out to the Community Development front desk at planningtech@bozeman.net, or by calling 406-582-2260 if you have any questions.

“In Review” projects are projects that have been preliminarily reviewed as “Proposed Projects” and have been found to be adequate to move forward to public notice and final review by staff. These projects meet, or nearly meet with conditions of approval, the City’s review criteria. All proposed projects will have summary sheets provided by the applicant available to view online, and In Review projects will have full documents and plan sets available. ‘In Review' projects are colored light green and with pink hatch on the Community Development Viewer. All projects are also available directly through the Project Documents folder.
