News this week:

 
1)     The monthly InterNeighborhood Council (INC) meeting is this Thursday, March 9 at 4:30 PM in the Library’s large community room. Agenda and minutes.
 
2)     This Wednesday, March 8 at 5:30 PM, the Good Neighbor Committee is hosting their Off-Campus Living 101 class at Montana State University in the SUB, Ballroom B. This class is intended for students moving off-campus for the first time – they’ll learn everything they need to know to find, lease and be safe in their off-campus home. Those attending the class will be served food and be entered for a chance to win a mountain bike. Register here.
 
3)     The City of Bozeman Transportation Master Plan (TMP) draft report is available and is currently accepting comments.
 
4)     The 2017 Spring & Summer Parks and Recreation Program Guide is now available online!

1)    Review

16534 SOBO Lofts Site Plan (Rice) Revisions – located in the Cooper Park Neighborhood Association (CPNA)
718 West Babcock Street. The return of a site plan application for a mixed-use apartment housing, parking, and commercial space in the Midtown District. The project includes 42 one-bedroom apartments and 3,000 SF of commercial space. This project has gone through DRB, RPAB, and City Commission for design review and parkland dedication.
 
17067 Costco Catamount Parcel Annexation and Zoning (Rice)
5889 E Valley Center Dr. This application proposes annexation with initial zoning of B-2 Commercial for 4.68 acres for a future expansion of Costco.
 
17070 19th and College Site Plan (WerBell)
1905 West College Street. Site plan application proposing the demolition of an existing single household dwelling and the subsequent construction of a 17,434-square foot commercial office building on a 0.92-acre lot with related site improvements.
 
17072 South Rows Site Plan (Owens)
540 Enterprise Blvd. Site Plan application for construction of nineteen (19) residential structures with related site improvements across three currently vacant lots totaling approximately 4.397 acres, with R-3 zoning. Proposed structures are a mix of two household, three household, and four household totaling 59 dwelling units.
 
17066 West Winds SW Subdivision Preapp  (Saunders)
3270 Breeze Lane, 1553 Windward Avenue and 1345 Windward Avenue. Subdivision pre-application for a major subdivision of 10.98 acres into 42 townhome lots, 32 residential single and multi-household lots, and 1 common open space lot. Non-standard streets are proposed. Zoning is R-3 within the West Winds PUD.

Downtown Bozeman Update

 

Ongoing Development Projects:

  • 5 West Overview, currently under construction, completion slated for spring 2017
  • Lark Hotel Addition, construction started, Victory Taco closed for season
  • Rialto Theater, construction has begun, fully-gutted, completion set for August 2017
  • Masonic Temple, front façade complete, south Tracy walkway still there and hopefully removed soon.
  • NeBo residential project, 12 units, 400 block of East Mendenhall completed and residents moving in
  • 107-111 East Main (Nevitt Building), brick restoration project is complete
  • Residential in-fill project on North Church, 5-plex under construction

 

Business Opening Updates:

  • Boho Bozeman opening at 129 W Main in spring 2017
  • Stuffed Crepes and Waffles opening at 26 West Main Street in spring 2017
  • Upper Cut Barber Shop open at 238 E Main March 2017
