3) Recycle your Christmas Tree. As a courtesy service, the City of Bozeman Forestry Division sets up several drop-off sites for residents to recycle their Christmas trees after the holidays. The crew transports a chipper to each site to process the trees into compostable material which will be used at a later date for organic cover at the Logan Landfill. The following sites have been reserved for Christmas Tree Recycling and will be open through Friday, February 17, 2017:

  • BMX Park (on Tamarack)
  • Christie Field (on Mason Street)
  • Softball Complex (lower parking lot on Haggerty Lane)
